Southern Vectis run buses across the Island, and probably the cheapest way to get around is with a Rover ticket. Rover Tickets give unlimited travel on all Isle of Wight buses, and are available from Travel Offices, Southern Vectis buses and many local shops. They are available for 1, 2, 7, 30 or 90 days. All students qualify for half fares, and national concession passes are valid for free travel (not on open-top buses or the X40 service).
Wightbus run services in limited areas of the island, principally Ventnor, Newport and Sandown Bay. They offer free travel to Rover ticket holders, but also have their own range of day- and week- tickets.
